Steps to Registration at LCCC
Welcome to Luzerne County Community College! Follow these recommended steps to avoid delays in the registration process.
- Apply for Admission
Apply online, in person, or mail it to the Admissions Office. - Apply for Financial Aid
Visit the Financial Aid website for more information or contact the Financial Aid Office. - Take Placement Test
Review your Letter of Acceptance for Placement Test procedures.- New Students must take the Placement Test prior to course registration.
- Transfer Students submit official college transcript(s) to the Registrar's Office and bring a copy to your session with your Counselor. Transfer Students with a GPA of 2.0 and completion of 12 or more credits may be exempt from placement testing.
- Re-admit Students may be required to take the Placement Test based upon academic credentials.
- Meet with a Counselor
Once you complete your Placement Test or submit your college transcript(s) you will be contacted by the Counseling Office. During your session with your Counselor you will plan your class schedule. - Register for Classes
You can register for classes in person at the Registrar's Office. Re-admit and transfer students may be eligible to register online. - Pay Tuition
Pay your tuition bill when you register or by the due date on your bill. Payments can be made in person or by mail. Contact the Business Office for more information. - Purchase books and any other materials
You can purchase your books in person or online through the College Bookstore.
