Alumni - Craft Festival

19th Annual Alumni Association Fall Craft Festival Saturday, October 18, 2008 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Alumni Association's Fall Craft Festival continues to be one of the largest and most praised in Northeastern Pennsylvania!

The Festival will feature nearly 150 quality vendors, a bake sale with delectable treats made by LCCC's Pastry Arts students, children's entertainment and crafts provided by the United Honors Societies and the Droptoberfest Lowriders Custom Car & Truck Show sponsored by Kiddie Rydes Car Club and SCCA’s Solo II Autocross Competition. In addition there are two raffles this year:

1. A craft raffle with a top prize of a $100 Savings Bond sponsored by the Cross Valley Federal Credit Union, Wilkes-Barre, and 100+ handcrafted items. Tickets are $1.00 each.
2. A watercolor raffle featuring an original watercolor entitled "Springtime Floral Bouquet" by nationally known artist Sue Hand which has a retail value of $650. With its numerous pastel shades, this beautiful painting will compliment any room in your home. Please click here to view this lovely water color painting. In addition, the painting will also be on display in the Cafeteria of the Campus Center. There are only a limited number of tickets for this special raffle and a $5.00 donation will give you three chances to win! Proceeds from the painting raffle will benefit LCCC student programs. The drawing will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2008.

Each year thousands of people attend this event which is praised as one of the best in the region. With the holidays just around the corner this is a great opportunity to "beat the rush" and do your shopping now!
