TAACCCT Grant Career Programs

Our goal is to get you back to work, fast.

Luzerne County Community College is offering brief courses to train unemployed and underemployed workers for the new jobs that are in demand now. Some courses can be completed as quickly as a few weeks to several months. Through a federal grant, community colleges have developed quick course programs that lead straight to the "jobs of today" in Energy, Advanced Manufacturing and Health Information Management.

Career coaches are ready to help you make the right choices, get through the enrollment and financial aid process and stay with you while you complete the coursework. If you have skills that need upgrading or you need to learn a whole new set of skills, your local community college can give you what you need most... a quick path to a good job.
