The LCCC Media Madness Camp will be held from Monday, June 21 through Thursday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the College's Advanced Technology Center. Participants will spend time behind and in front of TV cameras in the LCCC TV Studio and will introduce songs, read weather forecasts, and write and produce a radio promo that will air on the College's radio station, WSFX-FM. The LCCC Trailblazer Baseball Camp will be held from Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the College's Baseball Complex. The camp is designed to improve basic skills and team play. Robotics camps for children this summer. The camps will be held from Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1 for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students; from Monday, July 12 through Friday, July 16 for seventh, eighth and ninth grade girls; from Monday, July 19 through Thursday, July 22 for students who have previously attended an LCCC Lego camp; and from Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30 for all students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades. National Players, America's longest running classical touring company, has now reached its 61st consecutive season of touring. Currently the touring program of the Olney Theatre Center for the Arts, located in Maryland, National Players has earned a distinctive place in American theater. Committed to the formation of young theatrical talent and audiences, National Players seeks to celebrate the experience of theatergoing by presenting the world's greatest dramatic literature. The acting company has given approximately 6,500 performances and workshops on plays by Shakespeare, O'Neill, Moliere, Shaw, Kafka, Sophocles, Aeschylus, Aristophanes, Tom Stoppard, and Peter Shaffer. National Players has performed for the public in 35 states and 10 foreign countries, reaching young audiences in areas that are isolated geographically or economically; audiences that would otherwise never see quality live performances of classic plays.
