The theme of this year?s program is ?Through the Eyes of the Children.? The program will include remarks by Thomas P. Leary, LCCC president and John T. Yudichak, PA State Representative. The program will open with the Presentation of the Colors by Battery B First Battalion 109th Field Artillery Color Guard. A video, created in cooperation with the LCCC Broadcast Communications Department, featuring interviews with children about soldiers and Veterans Day, also will be shown. First place drawing contest winners from Hanover Area and Nanticoke Area elementary schools will be honored during the program. The contest entries will be on display with comments from all of the students who submitted their artwork. The bus will depart at 6:45 a.m. from parking lot A. The group is scheduled to enter the museum at 11:30 a.m. and the remainder of the day is on your own. The bus will leave from the museum at 6 p.m. Cost of the trip is $26 per person, is non-refundable, and must be paid no later than Thursday, October 29, at 11a.m. No seat is guaranteed until payment is received in full by Martha Pezzino. An opening reception, which is open to the public, will be held on Friday, October 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Gallery. Paintings by Michael Molnar, instructor of commercial art, and LCCC students will showcase their work based on principles of the Old Masters craft of painting.
