The Paramedic Refresher Class is held for Practicing Paramedic's so they can maintain their National Registry Certification. The class is also needed for students who are attempting there certification after not completing the three attempts at the certification test after completing this class it gives them three more attempts at the written test.

January 18th Wednesday 1800 to 2200hrs- Use oxygen delivery system components and perform ways to ensure a patent airway. Assess and provide care for an adult patient who has respiratory distress and provide ventilator support for a patient. Attempt to resuscitate a patient in cardiac arrest and provide post resuscitative care for a cardiac arrest patient.

January 20th Friday 1800 to 2200hrs- Provide care to a patient who is experiencing cardiovascular compromise and assess and provide care to a patient who is experiencing non-traumatic chest pain.

January 25th Wednesday 1800 to 2200hrs-Assess and provide care to a patient experiencing an allergic reaction and assess and provide care to a patient who has a possible overdose. Assess and provide care to a drowning patient and assess and provide care to a patient who has altered mental status.

January 27th Friday 1800 to 2200hrs- assess and provide care to a patient who has a history of being a diabetic and assess and provide care to a patient who is experiencing a seizure. Assess and provide care to a patient exposed to heat or cold and assess and provide care to a patient who is experiencing a behavioral problem and assess and provide care to a patient who has a communicable disease.

February 1st Wednesday 1800 to 2200hrs- Perform a primary survey and assess a patient with a head injury. Assess and provide care to a patient who has a suspected spinal injury and provide care to a patient who has a chest injury.

February 3rd Friday 1800 to 2200hrs- Provide care to a patient who has an open abdominal injury and provide care to a patient who has shock/hypoperfusion. Provide care to a patient who has a painful swollen deformed extremity and assess and provide care to a patient with a burn injury.

February 8th Wednesday 1800 to 2200hrs-Assess and provide care to an infant or child in cardiac arrest and assess and provide care to an infant or child who has respiratory distress.

February 15th Wednesday 1800 to 2200hrs- Assess and provide care to an infant or child who has shock/hypoperfusion and assess and provide care to an infant or child who has trauma.

February 22nd 1800 to 2200hrs- Assess and provide care to an infant or child who has suspected nonaccidental trauma or neglect and assess and provide care to an infant or child who has a fever.

March 6th Monday 1800 to 2200hrs- Assess and provide care to an obstetric patient and provide care to a new born.

March 7th Tuesday 1800 to 2200hrs- Provide care to a mother immediately following a delivery of a new born and use of body mechanics when lifting and moving a patient.

March 8th 1800 to 2200hrs- Communicate with a patient while providing care and NREMT station review.
