How to Give

Luzerne County Community College has long been the leader in providing well trained and educated public safety professionals in our communities. Now LCCC is committed to continuing lifelong learning for these professionals in a centralized, safe training center. The facilities will consist of modern classrooms, in-door shooting range, burn tower, rescue props, hazardous material props, an emergency vehicle operations course and much more. The training center will be the only kind in our area and will ensure our safety providers receive the best education available to keep our families and towns safe and secure. Our facilities and training can also be utilized for business and industry training to meet OSHA and ISO requirements, safe driving programs, confined space and trench rescue training.

To bring the much needed Public Safety Training Institute facility to our area, Luzerne County Community College will begin seeking funding from private and public sectors. Funding is needed for the construction costs of the buildings, equipment, tracks, and programs. LCCC, along with first responders, are looking for the support of individuals, businesses, and community groups to help make this facility possible.

Naming opportunities are available for buildings, classrooms, interiors, equipment and more.
