Position Title: FT Director of All One Recovery Education Institute (AREI) (Grant Funded until July 22, 2021)

Position Classification: Full-Time Administration

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Education - Master's Degree in a Human Service Field, Counseling, Public Administration, or related field.

  2. Experience - Two (2) years experience working with students or clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD); one (1) year of experience working in an administrative or management capacity, preferably in a counseling, community or higher education setting; experienced in networking and collaborating with community agencies; grant writing or grant management experience preferred.

  3. Skills - Ability to develop and implement SUD and/or recovery services; demonstrated leadership skills; demonstrated oral and written communication skills; proven ability to manage the collection, retrieval, analysis, and reporting of data.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Manage and implement services and the daily operations of LCCC All One Recovery Education Institute (AREI); maintain ongoing contact with AREI participants and provide direct services and support as needed; support in coordination with other areas of the College, the internal and external recruitment, enrollment and retention of AREI participants following grant's protocol; plan and schedule all AREI programming with the support of institute staff and related College departments; create partnerships with community agencies to provide coordinated wraparound support to students; recruit Advisory Board members to guide programming and strengthen partnerships; lead the assessment and evaluation of the Institute; manage AREI's budget, track expenditures, submit quarterly reports and ensure full adherence to grant's fiscal guidelines; sssist with researching and writing grants related to the mission of AREI; supervises staff, assigns work and work schedules, adjusts priorities, has final authority on approval/disapproval of leave, conducts performance evaluation of staff and makes recommendations for hiring and/or termination and problem resolution. Other related duties as assigned.

    Entry Salary: $50,048.19/annual

    Standard Work Week: 35 hours
