If you have any manufacturer coupons you don't want or need, our military families could use them. The LCCC BASIC Club is coordinating a collection in cooperation with the Tunkhannock Chapter of the DAR and would gladly take those coupons off your hands. The collection is part of the Military Family Coupon Program founded in 2007. In general, our military families can use regular manufacturer's coupons such as those from newspaper inserts, coupon mailings, store displays, and direct mailings from the manufacturer. BOGO coupons are also acceptable. "In Store Only" coupons are not acceptable. Expired coupons are also accepted as long as they are not more than six months. Coupons most requested are those for food, baby products, and for pets. Coupons will be sent to military families in Germany, Guam, Italy and Japan. Don't worry about cutting the coupons. Just bring them in, send them to Kathy Goeringer through the campus mail, or bring them to the Printing and Publications Office located in Building 1. For more information, call Kathy at extension 7436.
