This certificate of specialization program helps the student to develop an understanding of how entrepreneurs act upon their own creative ideas to start a new business, including the development of a business plan. Students will learn basic business skills such as accounting and marketing which are necessary to successfully manage a new small business. This program provides the student the opportunity to:
- Develop the ability to generate creative business ideas and start a new business venture
- Learn the business skills necessary to manage a small business
The graduate of this program will be able to:
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by creating and presenting a new business idea.
