If you have always dreamed of becoming a chef or running a hotel or restaurant, then consider the Hospitality Management Program at Luzerne County Community College.

LCCC's Hospitality Program will help prepare you for a career whether you wish to manage a hotel, run a spa, or operate a restaurant. Students will not only learn how to prepare meals in the service and hospitality management field but understand the business from a financial, economic, marketing and management point of view. Classes are held in the new Joseph A. Paglianite Culinary Institute Building in downtown Nanticoke.

  • Management: property managers, facility managers, rooms managers, executive housekeeper, meeting/conference coordinator, banquet and catering manager, convention services manager, food and beverage director, restaurant manager, director of sales and marketing, tour operators; Entertainment industry: casinos, theaters, stadiums;
  • Food service: schools, universities, hospitals, restaurants, dining clubs, taverns, and fast food operators;
  • Entrepreneur: restaurant or hotel owner, travel or spa agency, bed and breakfast operator, catering company and more.
