Curriculum: The Certificate in Issues in Oxygenation program consists of 5 courses for a total of 32 contact hours: Anatomy, Physiology, and Assessment of the Respiratory System (7 contact hours); Management of Adults with Respiratory Disorders (9 contact hours); Common Interventions to Improve Oxygenation (6 contact hours); Anatomy, Physiology, and Assessment of the Cardiovascular System (5 contact hours); and Disorders of the Cardiovascular System and the Role of the Hematologic System in Oxygen Transport (5 contact hours). Requirements: Internet access, e-mail, and the Internet Explorer or Netscape or Firefox Web browser.
