Luzerne County Community College and Faculty Union Reach Agreement, Averting Strike

After two days of extensive negotiations, Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) and the College's faculty union have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, ensuring there will be no disruption to classes or student services.*

"We are pleased to share that both parties have reached an agreement that supports our faculty while keeping our students and their academic success at the forefront," said John Yudichak, President of Luzerne County Community College. "We value the dedication and professionalism of our faculty, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to serving our students and community."

The new agreement will be presented to union membership for ratification and to the College's Board of Trustees for approval. Details of the agreement will be released following the ratification process.

Additional information will be provided in a joint statement from Luzerne County Community College and the PSEA tomorrow.

All classes, student support services, and campus operations will continue as scheduled.
