NRA Concealed Carry Weapons

NRA CCWMorning session at Luzerne County Community College at the Public Safety Training Center. Afternoon session will be on the range which will be announce that morning. No smaller caliber firearm than 9mm or 38 Special, with the appropriate concealed carry holster, 2 magazine pouches or speed loaders and pouches for a revolver. A minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition, with a cover garment. The material covered will include Firearm Safety, pistol Nomenclature and Selecting a pistol for self defense. Basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, and the NRA CCW Qualification course. When you register with the college and the NRA Training page, our instructor will contact you to discuss your particular needs and requirements. You must pay in advance, there are no refunds if you do not attend. If you did not attend our previous session you will need to purchase the books (Instructor), the book fee for this class is $50.00. Annual Law Enforcement Handgun Qualify

MPOETC Certified Law Enforcement Annual Handgun Qualification with the authorized duty weapon. Legal Up-Dates for Title #18, Use of Force and Deadly Force, Handgun 101, dissemble, cleaning, assembly, clearing stoppages. This course includes the MPOETC state mandated Annual Handgun Firearms Qualification Course. Handgun 101, a refresher course. Departmental pricing is available. PA Constable Requalify Firearms

This course is designed as training for Pennsylvania Constables to perfect their shooting skill and firearms handling techniques prior to participating in their yearly four (4) hour required qualification course administered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). This course is offered by LCCC as a separate and distinct firearms training course and has no affiliation with the PCCD. For an applicant to be accepted into the program they must be a Pennsylvania Constable certified by the PCCD to carry a firearm in the line of duty. When registering for this course applicant must provide his/her Constable Certification Number for verification of eligibility. Classes will be available upon request, please call our offices at 570-740-0637. Location of class TBA. AC-Armorer Course Glock

Learn how to safely use and maintain your weapon in a one-day (8 hour) class. Glock supplies all firearms and material required to take this course. To be eligible to take the Armorers Course yu must be an active/retired law enforcement or military officer, private security, GLOCK Stocking Dealer/Range Program Employee or current GSSF member.) Glock Operator Course

Increase your knowledge and skills with your GLOCK in 2 Days (16 Hours). This training course is designed and intended for public safety professionals who have successfully completed a basic pistol course and want to improve their skills. This course is not recommended for those who have not attended official training programs. This course is a dynamic shooting course that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, shoot on the move, move into and recover quickly from kneeling and prone positions. Check the GLOCK training page for required firearms, ammunition, and equipment for this course. To sign up for this course to the the GLOCK website training page to register and pay. DO NOT CONTACT THE COLLEGE ABOUT SEATING, AVAILABILITY, OR PAYMENT. ALL REGISTRATION IS COORDINATED BY GLOCK. Range use will SCI Dallas. Please note that LCCC will be following the CDC and PA Department of Health Guidelines for COVID-19 at the time of class. Contact Charlie Hentz at 570-242-2033 for additional information. Students will need to bring: GLOCK Pistol, 1,000 rounds of ammunition (No Reloads), 10 dummy rounds, eye and ear protection. A quality strong side holster that covers the trigger and trigger guard. Minimum of 3 magazine and 2 magazine pouches. A belt to support the pistol and magazine pouches. Duty Equipment Encouraged, but not required. To be eligible to take the GLOCK Operator Course, you must meet one of the following requirements: Active/Retired Law Enforcement or Military, Private Security, Possess a current Concealed Carry Permit from your state, or, provide a State of NO Criminal History from a Law Enforcement agency.
