LCCC to Honor Veterans with Annual Ceremony

Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11*, to recognize and honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event will take place at the Patrick J. Solano Veterans Center on the Main Campus in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania.

The ceremony brings together students, faculty, staff, and community members for a meaningful tribute to America's veterans. Attendees can expect:

Speeches from college leaders and veterans, highlighting the bravery and sacrifice of those who served.

Student performances of patriotic songs, including the national anthem.

Presentation of colors, often conducted by Boy Scout Troop 166 from Hanover Township.

Pledge of Allegiance led by students.

Recognition of LCCC students whose education is supported by veterans' benefits. LCCC's Veterans Day Ceremony is a proud tradition that honors those who have served and highlights the college's commitment to its veteran students.
