LCCC Videographer Wins Gold at National Education Digital Marketing Awards

Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) is proud to announce that Rich Charneski, College Videographer, has been awarded a Gold distinction in the Digital Special Video (Over 2 Minutes) category at the 13th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards. Charneski earned the honor for his production, "Luzerne County Community College EMS Training to Save Lives."

The Education Digital Marketing Awards recognize outstanding achievement in digital marketing across universities, colleges, and secondary schools nationwide. Entries were judged by a national panel of higher education marketing professionals, advertising creative directors, and industry experts.

This year's competition received over 1,000 submissions, with only 229 institutions receiving Gold awards. Winning entries represent the highest standards of creativity, storytelling, and strategic digital communication in the education sector.

Charneski's award-winning video showcases LCCC's Emergency Medical Services training program and highlights how the College prepares first responders to save lives in their communities.

"Rich is a gifted visual storyteller who captures the heart of our mission," said John Yudichak, President of Luzerne County Community College. "His work brings to life the impact our students and faculty have every day. We are proud to see his talent recognized on a national stage."

Before joining LCCC, Charneski spent more than 30 years in the sports department at WBRE-TV, where he established himself as a respected visual journalist and creative producer. Since coming to the College, he has played a key role in advancing LCCC's digital outreach and multimedia engagement.

"We are incredibly proud of Rich and grateful for his continued dedication to telling the story of LCCC," said Phil Schoener, Director of Public Relations and External Affairs. "This is one of many achievements to come."
