Classes Begin for the Fifteen-Week Session for the fall 2018 semester on Monday, August 27.

Luzerne County Community College will hold registration for fall semester classes on Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. to noon; from Monday, August 20 through Wednesday,

August 22, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, August 23 and Friday, August 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to noon; from Monday, August 27 through Thursday, August 30, from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on Friday, August 31, from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the College's campus in Nanticoke.

Classes for the fall semester will begin on Monday, August 27.

Summer Diplomas will be issued on Thursday, August 23.

Campus Candids - New Human Services Diploma Program

LCCC recently held an announcement of a new Human Services Diploma Specializing in Addiction Recovery which is designed to prepare students for work in the drug and alcohol field specializing in peer support recovery. The program was created in conjunction with Pennsylvania Recovery Organizations Alliance (PRO-A). Several speakers discussed the opioid crisis and the importance of education and training in battling the problem. The new LCCC program is the first credit program in Pennsylvania that will prepare students to pursue the Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) credential through the PA Certification Board (PCB).
