Gluten Free Pasta with Spicy Sauce

Homemade Gluten Free Pasta


1 Cup Bob's Red Mill Flour (Soy)
2 Cups Bob's Red Mill All Purpose Flour (Gluten Free)
2 Eggs
Olive oil (if desired)


Mix by hand. Let rest for 30 mins.
Use pasta machine to roll out and then cut into desired pasta form.
Boiling pot of salted water.
Drop pasta cook until tender and drain.

Fra Diavolo di Mazara (A Spicy Red Sauce)


1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup onions, diced
4-6 cloves garlic, minced
1 red jalapeño pepper, minced or 1 tsp red pepper flakes (depends on how spicy you want it)
5 cups crushed plum tomatoes, use fresh if possible or San Marzano tomatoes
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup fresh basil-chopped
3 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste


In a large sauce pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions until translucent.
Add jalapeño or red pepper flakes and sauté for a minute.
Add white wine and deglaze pan. Add garlic, tomatoes, basil, and sugar to sauce.
On medium heat, cook sauce for about an hour-longer if desired.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
You may use a hand blender if you would like a smoother sauce or leave it chunky.
It is now ready to create your own culinary work of art.
