Position Title: FT Technological Assistant, Public Relations and External Affairs Position Classification: Full-Time Classified Minimum Position Qualifications:
Responsible for all photography related requests of the College; plans and implements processes of image creation including composition, posing, image capture, downloading, editing, digital manipulation and output; maintains archives; maintains a log of assignments using spreadsheets for department; professionally produce video and photographic content using independent creative judgement to effectively tell compelling stories for social media websites; scans negatives and prints to produce digital files and copy prints; designs and produces collages, composites and displays; assists with the selection of photographs various social media and college uses; schedules photo sessions as needed and complete the identification process for photos; assists with research and recommend equipment and supplies for the College; requisitions office supplies and printing material; posts various media to College internal and social media sites; assists with press release dissemination; assist with exterior sign postings and broadcast message distribution when necessary; maintain a catalog of news coverage through clipping service; maintain bulletin board of College publicity; sorts and routes incoming mail; places outgoing calls and makes appointments; train and supervise work study students; assists the Media Services Technician as necessary, maintains necessary supplies and places orders, when necessary; position requires flexible work hours within a Fourty (40) hour work week, Monday through Friday inclusive.
