Institutional Effectiveness - Assessment

LCCC measures effectiveness through achievement of the mission. The data below are samples of key measures used to gauge effectiveness.

Excellence in Education
Assessment of student learning is a continual effort of LCCC's faculty and staff. 100% of programs and courses have specific measurable learning outcomes, and faculty utilize assessment results to improve teaching and learning. In addition to review of student work, surveys are regularly conducted to identify student perceptions regarding their education. Students report higher levels of satisfaction and educational competencies than averages for other community colleges nationwide in many key areas.
