Workforce and Community Development Division
The Workforce and Community Development (WCD) Division supports the College's mission by serving as the liaison with business, industry, educational, and economic development organizations throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. WCD works with regional constituents to initiate, refine, and deliver programs which support a well-trained workforce and to enhance the economic growth and community development of the region.
The Division's programs and training enable individuals to keep up-to-date in their fields, embark on new career tracks, learn basic literacy skills, and to pursue learning for the joy of personal enrichment. On campus or on site, custom-designed training programs and consulting services help business, industry, government, and non-profit organizations to remain on the cutting edge.
Classes are held days, evenings and weekends on the Nanticoke campus and LCCC's four dedicated off-campus centers (Wilkes-Barre Center, Hazleton, Shamokin, and Berwick) in addition at various sites throughout Northeast Pennsylvania and online via the Internet.
