Fall Career Fair Schedule
Desc: This Fall Career Services will host 5 targeted Career Fairs. If you are looking for an internship or employment, bring your resume and stop by to speak with the employers looking to hire you! Door prizes will be given out, so come to the Fair to get your swag. 11/1/24- Northumberland Center (Shamokin) will be the site for a Healthcare Career Fair and Expo, from 10am-2pm. The Expo will feature employers within the healthcare field as well as 'booths' offering different types of health-related information 11/4/24- Nursing, Dental, and Respiratory Therapy (2nd year students only) Fair, from 11am-2pm, in the Health Science Center 11/6/24- General/All-majors Fair, from 11am-2pm, 3rd Floor Campus Center (Main Campus) 11/8/24- Surgical Technology & Respiratory Therapy (1st yr students only) Fair, from 11am-2pm, in the Health Science Center 11/14/24- Trades & Technology and Communication Arts Night, from 5:30-7:30pm- tour the Advanced Technology Center and speak with Technology and Communication Arts faculty about these majors. 11/20/24- Trades & Technology Fair, from 10am-1pm, in the Technology Center (Main Campus)- the Industry Advisory Board meeting will follow immediately after the Fair.

Turn Up- Paid Summer Voter Registration Internship
Desc: TurnUp Activism is seeking college students to join as a paid Summer Voter Registration Interns. Interns receive a $3,000 stipend and make a significant impact on the 2024 election through high-traffic canvassing to register young people to vote! Each intern will be responsible for locating and engaging with potential voters in high-traffic areas (malls, parks, transit stations, etc.), at local events (fairs, block parties, etc.), and registering them to vote. As part of the internship experience, interns will receive comprehensive education from experienced organizers on voter registration and engagement. TurnUp will also provide the physical materials and supervision necessary to conduct frequent and successful voter registration activities. All voter registration activities are non-partisan. Benefits: - $3,000 stipend - Gas/Public Transit Reimbursement - Make an impact and learn about civic engagement Structure: - Remote but must live in AZ, MI, NV, OH, PA, or WI - Full time, 40 hours/week - 10 weeks - Non-traditional schedule
